Bring your kids in for a fun day of theatre on President’s Day!  Kids ages 12-13 can participate in both workshops if they’d like to get a taste of the Shade Tree Players Conservatory program!

Free hot dogs and chips will be served from 12-1 in the Dakota Stage lobby! Early-bird signups for the Summer 2024 Shade Tree Players shows will be available, along with show and audition information.

Minimum of 8 participants necessary for classes to take place.

Acting ABCs (Ages 7-13)

Learn acting basics like stage presence, vocal projection and variety, movement, and character development.  Tour Dakota Stage’s costume room, green room, and backstage!  Learn about advancing to Conservatory level productions.

Learn what it takes to have a great audition and capture the limelight in Musical Theatre!  You will practice producing and performing choreography, how to choose an audition song, vocal techniques and more!
